In May 2006, Clarissa entered her fourteenth year of practicing law in Brevard County, Florida. Four years ago she opened her own law firm in the Suntree area close to the Moore Justice Center in Viera. She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law and business litigation, handling the following types of cases: divorce, injunctions, child custody and visitation, child support, paternity, modifications of final judgements, step-parent and other private adoptions, landlord-tenant disputes, juvenile dependency, contract disputes, construction litigation, and business torts.
